Marco Foletti, MD, is currently a resident in Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine and a research assistant at CRIMEDIM. During his professional career he also attended training courses on tropical medicine and public health during complex emergencies.
He is currently involved in the CRIMEDIM program for the professionalization of healthcare personnel during humanitarian response and research studies for safe and effective anesthesia in low-income countries
He took part to several development programs being carried on by local NGOs in Rwanda, Uganda, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, Haiti. He has also being participating to a EU-funded project for disaster management at EU level being jointly developed by 12 European research centers (DITAC).
