Also this year CRIMEDIM took part to EUSEM, the European Emergency Medicine Congress, which was held in Prague from October 12 to October 16. EUSEM 2019 was marked by interesting and valuable scientific programs covering all the aspects of medical disciplines, and giving the opportunity to discuss about challenging issues like response to disasters, pediatric emergencies, leadership and management in EM. This year, interactions, simulations, innovative and more involving discussion formats were used to involve participants who had the opportunity to meet the most renowned leaders and experts as they were friends or teachers. The European Emergency Medicine Congress, indeed, is also an occasion for networking and amuse, in a dense scientific and social program.
An innovative pre-course on Hospital Disaster Preparedness based on virtual and computerized simulations, designed by CRIMEDIM and REGEDIM, was offered to a class of 20 emergency physicians who are now trained to better prepare their emergency departments.
EMDM students of 2017 and 2018 edition received their diploma during an official ceremony.
