Alba Ripoll Gallardo

Medical doctor, graduated from University of Barcelona (Spain, 2007) and specialized in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the Università del Piemonte Orientale (Italy, 2014). She accomplished a PhD on the professionalization of humanitarian health staff at CRIMEDIM. Alba deployed in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Gaza and Burkina Faso. Her main fields of expertise are: humanitarian assistance and education and research in underserved areas. Author of several full papers published on peer-reviewed, impacted journals, and presented at national and international congresses.

In CRIMEDIM, currently Alba holds a post-doc position. Coordinator of an international training program in humanitarian health in collaboration with Médecins Sans Frontières.
