Daniela Martini
Instructional designer, capacity building and learning specialist with great experience in knowledge management. Daniela has been involved with the WHO Emergency Medical Teams (EMTs) initiative, where she was responsible for the coordination of communication and training activities supporting the development of international emergency response mechanisms. Previously, she worked as knowledge manager and learning specialist for UN OCHA Geneva and for IT UNICEF in New York HQ. She is still consulting with WHO Health Emergencies Programme (WHE) where she is part of WHE Simulation Task Team and Learning and Capacity Building Team.
Her specialties include adult learning and the instructional design of learning and training activities (including all aspects of the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation phases), technology enhanced learning (networked e-learning), new technologies (learning content management systems, authoring software and social software), creative design thinking and knowledge management.
In CRIMEDIM, Daniela is responsible for managing all aspects of online training and eLearning platforms. In addition, she overlooks the communication and public relations of CRIMEDIM, including designing the Center’s website and communication material.
