Abdulnasir Abagero Haji

Abdulnasir is an Epidemiologist and Health Policy Professional with more than 10 years working experience in Africa. He has completed African Public Health Leader’s Fellowship, at Chatham House of the Royal Institute of International Affairs in London UK (2018/19). He has worked with Ministry of Health, Field Epidemiology Training Program, Ethiopian Public Health Institute, Public Health Emergency Management and International Organizations such as Save the Children and The Fred Hollows Foundation, covering variety of technical and coordination roles.

He is currently enrolled in the International PhD program in Global Health, Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Medicine jointly organized by Università del Piemonte Orientale (UPO) in Italy and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in Belgium (2020). Abdunnasir’s research interest includes, infectious disease, public health emergency management, health care resilience and health policy.
