Federico Carbini

Medical doctor graduated from La Sapienza University of Rome (2019), where he gained experience in the Thoracic Trauma management. He is currently pursuing a residency in Emergency Medicine at Università del Piemonte Orientale (Novara, Italy).

His main focus during his collaboration with CRIMEDIM has laid in the international disaster response and the EMT initiative, and in training and simulation in disaster medicine.

At CRIMEDIM Federico is currently involved in the EU-Modex, as casualty coordinator and in creating the clinical cases’ database. He also took the role of the Project coordinator for the DisasterSISM project, aimed at the education of med students in disaster medicine, using his experience as a member of SISM during his university career.
