Hamdi lamine
Hamdi Lamine is a PhD holder in health sciences, coming from Tunisia. His research activities are mainly focused on disaster preparedness and resilience. As a background, Hamdi is a specialised nurse in emergency and resuscitation and graduated in 2015 from the Higher School of Health Science and Techniques of Sousse (Tunisia). Two years later, he got his research master’s in health sciences (MSc) from the same school. And in 2023, he got his PhD in Health Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine of Sousse-Tunisia with the highest honourable mention, jury congratulations and a proposal for the presidential thesis award.
Hamdi works at CRIMEDIM as a postdoctoral research fellow. He is mainly involved in the Doctoral Programme in Global Health, Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Medicine: he provides lectures on research methods, collaborates with the coordination and organisation of the PhD programme, and provides ongoing support to PhD students throughout their research projects. He is also involved in other research-related and EU-funded activities at CRIMEDIM, such as No-Fear and NIGHTINGALE and topics such as the EMT initiative and community preparedness.
Besides that, Hamdi is involved in some training activities of CRIMEDIM such as the EMDM.
