Medical doctor, specialist in Disaster Medicine, with extensive working experience, in disasters, complex emergency responses, protracted crises, and outbreaks of infectious diseases. Keen interest and experience in Migration /displaced population health related operations, programs, and policy.
I have worked with different international and non-governmental organisations covering field and executive roles, that gave me the opportunity to lead cross-functional and multi-cultural teams, support and lead emergency preparedness and response plans, improve organisations readiness and response capacities, conduct risk analysis, steer health strategies, and negotiate access and operational space for health responses, particularly those with a potential disaster displacement impact.
I’m a Faculty member of the European Master in Disaster Medicine (EMDM), Research Fellow and PhD Candidate at the International Doctoral Program in Global Health, Humanitarian aid, and Disaster medicine, Adjunct Faculty Member of the Fellowship in Disaster Medicine at the BIDMC Harvard Medical School, and member of the Health Care in Danger Initiative working group lead by ICRC.
