Stanislav is a public health professional with over 10 years of experience working with various organisations in Ukraine and internationally to strengthen the health systems to better respond to emergencies. Most recently, Stanislav worked with the WHO Regional Office for Europe COVID-19 Incident Management Support Team and with the WHO Country Office in Ukraine on the response to the Russian invasion.
He graduated from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine) in 2020 with a Master’s degree in Health Care Management. He is currently a third-year PhD student at CRIMEDIM.
Stanislav's areas of research interest include prioritization of emergency health interventions, strengthening health systems across different domains, including emergency medical services and immunization, capacity building, and health information management.
At CRIMEDIM, he is involved in the Horizon Europe PREPSHIELD project on pandemic preparedness, and he also contributes to teaching and supervises master’s students.
