Khalid is a Medical doctor, graduated from University of Tunis - Tunisia (1999). He obtained a MSc in Disaster Medicine from UPO (2019).
Until 31 January 2026, he served for 18 years as an UN International Civil servant in multiple duty stations – Chad, Timor Leste and Libya – and at UNHQ – NYC. Following those assignments and short missions’ assessments, he contributed actively to implementing risk assessment methodology.
As a PhD candidate, Khalid’s research emphasizes Humanitarian Aid Workers Safety & health aiming at integrating international Occupational Health & Safety standards into emergency preparedness and response along with the implementation of a sequence of cascading risk management methods for the protection and risk prevention for those workers globally.
