Ludovica holds a BSc in European Public Health and an MSc in Epidemiology from Maastricht University, The Netherlands.
She completed a one-year traineeship at the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), contributing to the KNOW Unit on Crisis Preparedness and Emerging Risks.
As a Junior Researcher, she investigated the intersection of infectious diseases, displacement, and health equity, adopting a One Health perspective focused on vulnerable populations.
She is currently a first-year PhD candidate at CRIMEDIM, where her work centers on crisis preparedness, simulation-based research, epidemiological modeling, and infectious diseases.
Her research takes an interdisciplinary approach, bridging public health and the social sciences.
She is also a member of CRIMEDIM’s team for the European Horizon project PREPSHIELD, which promotes a holistic, citizen-centered approach to health crisis preparedness and management.
